Goodbye Houghton

A “goodbye” to a little town way up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. A town where I went to school and lived for 5+ years. The idea of this video came from looking out the side window of a plane during take off and listening to “Choir to the Wild” by Solomon Grey. The idea then progressed into somewhat of a “speedrun” as a college student at MTU. In a sense, this video represents being a student (driving through obstacles), and then the oh-so-good feeling of graduating (flying away).

A mere ride through a little city in the Upper Peninsula. The memories and moments that surround this place hold a special place in my heart. As many people go through college here, it’s safe to assume a handful of them grow and become something they would’ve never predicted. Through the ride of Michigan Tech, and through the ride of this unique, hidden little town; Houghton. Thank you Solomon Grey for the music. Thank you Victor Ierulli II for piloting the drone
